Hello all,

I recently had the good fortune to visit the Warani Nature Reserve with
members of the Mildura Field Naturalists and the Riverland Field
Naturalists Clubs with Doug. Holly of Berri,SA. Amongst the five species of
parrots seen was the Regent Parrot.

The reserve is predominantly mallee/belah woodland situated about 120k
south of Broken Hill(lat 33d 26m S. lon 141d 09m E).

Is this near the northern edge of the range of this bird in NSW ?

We saw 66 species during the three days which was OK considering the rather
adverse weather.
