You are indeed 100% correct.  Well spotted!  What really hurts here is  
that I took the photo's.  However I did not know that they were going to  
be used incorrectly.  The only consolation here is that the article did  
get the message across and it was never intended to be a field guide.  I  
will definitely be pointing this out to the author.
