I was just looking at the article on Wandering Albatross in the May/June 1995 issue of GEO, and noticed that some of the photos appear to be of Royal Albatross, not Wanderers. The most obvious of these pictures is on page 48, above the heading "Declining Numbers". The black cutting edge to the bill is quite noticable. Some of the other photos also appear to show this feature, but not as clearly. Is this indeed the case? Paul Taylor ========================================== |
