Using ifconfig I reset the address to 192.168.0.50 and am now able to
sucessfully ping my device from my host machine. However, I'm unable to ping
my host from the device. In addition, when I attempt to SSH in I'm given the
error "Connection Refused". I turned off my firewall thinking that could be it
but that didn't solve it. I then compared it to my working TS-7800 using
ifconfig on both. The TS-7800
is sending and recieving packets:
RX packets:52 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:6 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:256
RX bytes:4928 (4.8 KiB) TX bytes:380 (380.0 b)
Interrupt:21
The 7300 however is not:
RX packets:149 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:0 (0.0 b) TX bytes:0 (0.0 b)
Interrupt:39
The /etc/ssh/ssh_config files were slightly different so I modified the 7300 to
match but this failed as well. The fact that I can ping it but not connect to
it makes me think its definitely an issue on the device side.
