  I'd suggest connecting to the serial port and doing a 'ifconfig' to find out what was configured.
This should lead you somewhere. The autoconfiguration on boot is performed according
to the files in /etc/network if I remember correctly.

I've recently switched from the TS-7800 to the TS-7300 for the actually programmable FPGA. However, I'm having some connection issues. When connecting via the serial port everything behaves properly and connects. However, when I attempt to connect via the ethernet, through PUTTY (I'm running this on a windows 7 machine sadly) or through the standard windows FTP command, I'm unable to make a connection.
