I thought it was possibly the wrong chipset, but since they said it would work
figured I was doing something wrong. Now that I know i am looking for the
rt3070L chipset at least now i can be more confident before ordering.

Do you know if the L stands for Low Power? Long range? In a quick search I
saw the chipset listed as rs3070 without the L for various adapters. I noticed
on the USB WIFI adapter link you posted it did not have an L in the chipset
name also.

Was getting your usb-wifi adapter as simple as plugging it in or was there a
few extra steps? You don't have to list the steps just wondering what i should
expect.

Thanks again for all you help
