Just to clarify I was able to get the recommended USB-N-WIFI technologic offers on their website working on the TS-7500 running the latest dd.
When I run the USB-N-WIFI with the detachable antenna I see the same device in the /dev directory as I would see the recommend technologic adapter.

However when i run the ifconfig -a command I do not see the ra0 i just see eth0 and lo. this is before and after running the ifconfig ra0 up command.
