I don't think 3mhz "bandwidth" is the same as GPIO controlled DIO.   does anybody have any testable, compilable C code that I can run and benchmark claimed DIO switching?   I'm looking for the fastest frequency with a 50% duty cycle, as well as shortest pulse width achievable.

Hi,

Am just experimenting with the PC/104 as GPIO output.
I can reach above 3MHz bandwidth, thus you should definitely
be able to achieve your goal.

TS-DIO24 was able to control a stepper motor from a scanner pretty well, it should certainly be much faster than 50 Hz.

The problem is that the board seems to only toggle pin values at a maximum frequency of 50 Hz. Is there a way to output at a higher rate?
