Ditto what Jim said after running "s/Emacs/vi/g"  :-)

I will eventually look at some IDE's that might help with some OOP based 
projects I'm involved with and see if it helps me navigate around the class 
system to find the things I need to alter to fix an issue.

I have Code::Blocks and MonoDevelop installed under Ubuntu to look at when I 
have some spare time.
