Hi Mark,

You have not mentioned the best one. ie http://www.codelite.org/

I have been using it for a number of years for TS boards.
Whilst it is not targeted specifically for embedded apllications it lends 
itself very well to to being configured for embedded work. Take a look at the 
Codelite Forum

where we are actively working making it even better

I am familiar with Eclipse and while I agree with the fact that it it is very 
powerful and has the potential to be all things to all men I find it very 
difficult to use and bend it it to do my old fashioned way of doing things.

Look it up and let me know what you think. It has excellent support and as I 
say it can be used for embedded applications.
