If IRQ 22 is routed through IRQ 5 you should set up interrupt handling for 
22 and not 5. This sounds like it might be similar to how PIC's in a typical 
x86 style PC have the IRQ's on the second PIC (for IRQ 9+) routed through 
IRQ 2 on the first PIC.
