Has anyone been able to get a Java development environment working on the 7500
series? I have a 7553 and have been looking everywhere and trying everything I
can think of to enable me to work in Java. I've been trying to get the Gnu
Compiler for Java (gcj), which is part of gcc, to cross-compile but can't get
it to build successfully after many days of trying. It can't be natively
compiled because the 7553 runs low on memory and freezes. There appear to be
no installable Debian packages.

Has anyone had any success with Java?
