[ts-7000] COM2 port on TS-8390 touchscreen

Has anyone had luck using the COM2 serial port on the TS-8390?  

I've tried nearly every device, with no luck.  I believe it must be 
/dev/ttymxc2, as the schematics show that RS-232 TX/RX are on UART3 - however, 
I get nothing when sending characters to this device.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
