Thanks for the reply. I don't have brltty installed. The modem is in an
USB stick so has no cabling.
I also have a huawei e220. Testing overnight shows that it got
disconnected also. But this is probably like what Russell described -
disconnect on idle. The ttyUSB0 dev is still there and I could reconnect
afterwards.
Could you tell me how long does the interface stays up for you normally?
