Actually ... it *does* check the filesystem, but it discards the output from the fsck program and runs it in the background. AND, it always brings up an interactive shell at boot time.

Urgh. That image is not set up to check the root filesystem before mounting it. So if you lose power and the filesystem gets corrupted, when you reboot, you will have lost files, locked filenames, and various other damage easily fixed with a fsck. Does anybody have a 2.6 image with this problem fixed?

Hey Don;

I have had lots of luck with that lenny image.  I have simply expanded it to 2GB, made sure it boots,
and the I replace the partitions piecemeal to make my cards.
(don't forget bs=2048 options to the dd command.  Must be used every time you write on 2GB including
when you insert kernel into partition2).

Good luck

But, doesn't TS-SDBOOT expect to find the kernel on partition 1, and the
initrd on partition 2, of the SD card? I think the partitions are
different for the 2.6 SD image (maybe partitions 2 and 3, respectively).
Is there a way to make sure that things are looked for in the right place
on the SD card?
