Thanks, but EARLY_UART2 is already set in my configuration . The only place
EARLY_UART seems to be used is in the decompressor which is putting out its
messages successfully. Grepping in my kernel doesnât show any other place that
the EARLY_UART configuration is used. It is right after the decompressor
finishes and jumps to the actual kernel that output gets garbled.

CONFIG_MACH_TS72XX=y
# CONFIG_EP93XX_EARLY_UART1 is not set
CONFIG_EP93XX_EARLY_UART2=y
# CONFIG_EP93XX_EARLY_UART3 is not set
CONFIG_MACH_TS72XX_FORCE_MACHINEID=y
CONFIG_MACH_TS72XX_SBCINFO=y

Thanks,
Bill.

Hi,

take a look at CONFIG_EP93XX_EARLY_UART{1,2,3} kernel config options.
