Using Matthieuâs patches Iâve built a TS7200 2.6.34 kernel. When I select
ttyAM0 as the console all is well. If I select ttyAM1, output is corrupted
(probably wrong baud rate) between the âbooting kernelâ message from the
decompressor and the âconsole [portname] enabledâ message. (Sample output
below)
I am not sure where in the boot code the baud rate or clock settings might be
getting munged or where I should (maybe) add some more thorough UART
initialization.
I have looked at a lot of the code and I don't see any place where the UART is
touched at all between the decompressor and console_init() function - any
suggestions as to where I should be looking will be appreciated.
