Hi all,

I am stuck in the problem of flash initialization as posted in the last message. That is the error about "FLASH sub-system not initialized" when I "fis write" bootrom and redboot into my nand 2k flash of TS7250 after booting into "redboot" prompt by the serial blaster.

Could anyone help me out of the problem? I am not sure where the problem is to lead a failure in the flash initialization. Is it from the new compiled redboot or the serial blaster? Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Best Regards,
Xiang Lu

The main change I did with my redboot batch was to add the eeprom
writing commands. (If I remember correctly I also added some
initialization code that could not be done with the 2K serialblaster
bootloader). So if you port those to the newer redboot it might work.

You might also scan the newgroup archives to see if anyone else has
already done this.

Best of luck.
-Curtis.
