Make sure you have specified no handshaking on your terminal emulator, the kernel is picky about this

Hi,
I have a problem from some time ago and I wonder if anyone else suffers it as well.
I have the 2.6.34 (with matt's patches) installed, and I start my ts7250 normally (with 2.4 kernel). I the use "bootload" to go into the 2.6 kernel (the root is a 2.6 archmobile installation I have on a 2GB thumbdrive). I use console=ttyAM0 and boot messages appear correctly over the serial line.
The problem is that when it gets to the login prompt it stops receiving input (it still produces output though). I'm then forced to use ssh to log into the 2.6 installation.

Any ideas on what could it be? Thanks

Matt
