I did in fact email TS Tech support last weekend and got a response Monday.
They posted the kernels I was looking for on the
ftp://oz.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7250-linux/binaries/ts-kernels/
website. The TS-7250 now works as it should.

I discovered that the reason Linux had degraded and I felt it necessary to
re-flash in the first place was because I had boluxed up an edit of 'inittab'.
I had edited it in Windows and forgot to convert it back to Linux (LF only)
format. This caused several problem including not finding the network on boot
up. Once I converted it everything worked fine (with the kernel newly posted
on the ftp site).

That mistake turned into a great learning experience...
