Hi. I'm trying to get CAN bus working using a TS-CAN1 on a 7530 board. I'm
loading the kernel module with out any errors using the following parameters
insmod -f lincan.ko io=0x150 hw=tscan irq=33
(for IRQ6, JP4 on, I/O address 150, JP1 and JP2 off)
I can run lincan utilities like sendburst, sendcan, readcan with out error;
however, I'm getting no activity on CAN_H and CAN_L. All I see when looking at
either line is a very odd looking 60Hz signal, about 2Vp-p. The signal is
persistent whether the kernel module is loaded or not.
I've tried just about every combination of IRQ and I/O address (with the proper
jumper settings). I've tried the pre-built kernel module from lincan-7800 from
TS, and I've tried modules built from source. No luck.
What am I missing here? Am I not configuring something correctly? Possibly I
have a bad CAN card?
Thanks.
