I would guess that the device is resetting itself due to power issues.  
What are you supplying the 7260 with?  Also not sure if the 7260 runs 5v 
from the input to the USB or if it uses the 5v charge-pump supply that 
some TS arm boards do, if so it can't really supply 500ma.  Is this a 
flash disk?  Is there any way to supply it with 5v other then the 7260?  
Maybe a USB extension cable with the 5v and gnd wires cut out and wired 
to a external supply?
