Which one is locking up: built-in ep93xx ethernet or the second port using the
FPGA?
If it is the ep93xx port, this post:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ts-7000/message/10980
refers to some patches for the ep93xx ethernet port that were supposed to be
headed upstream. A quick look at 2.6.28 doesn't show them there yet, and
Mathieu still carries one or both of them in his patchset (atm, latest is
2.6.29.1):

Good to hear, btw, that vanilla 2.6.31 carries a driver for the FPGA ethernet
port. If it's stable, the 7300 just became a little more attractive for a
firewall.
