For the reason Jason mentioned above, I don't think the kernel source to
rebuild the SD card driver is included.
However, the initrd partition in this image (see link below) does include a
pre-built SD Card driver as a kernel module, which does work with this kernel.

My TS7400 is now running the above image, including the debian distro, from the
SD card.
