Hello j, Sorry to hear of your troubles -- we have 3 TS-7250s that are now basically unusable because YAFFS has marked so many blocks as bad that our software no longer fits in the flash. I have searched high and low for a way to unmark those bad blocks but of course there might be some legitimately bad blocks in there as well and you would have no way of distinguishing the real bad ones from the ones that YAFFS just decided should be bad for some reason. If you find a way to recover those boards I would like to hear how you did it. We are using JFFS in our TS-7250 applications and it is working great for us. We had to patch our kernel to get it to work (we are using a pretty old 2.4 kernel) but it was easy to find the necessary code in another similar kernel online. There is definitely something wrong with YAFFS, at least in the version of software we got for the TS-7250 and maybe just on that board. Also, I have a hard time trusting any software that spews out error messages with the word "tragedy" in them.
