Hi Martin --

Just some random thoughts:

* There were some ep93xx errata regarding lockups in the ep93xx reset/poweron
sequence. Are all your chips the same rev level?

* Have you recorded any kernel oops / lockups in testing? Though that should
be the same for all boards ...

* Do the lockups seem to correlate by site? That is, can you swap a board that
never locks up with one that does, and see if the lockups follow the board or
the site?

* Are the power supplies all the same? You could try a big cap across the 5V
supply line, or go to a better grade regulated 5v supply at the problem sites.
If your analog skills are good (mine aren't), you could even come up with a
drop-out detector that would sit between the PS and the board, and latch an LED
if the 5V drops below a certain level.

regards, ........... Charlie
