| Subject: | [ts-7000] Watchdog doesn't help with lock-ups (TS7250) |

We have some dozens of units out in the field now, and sometimes some of them
lock up, and have to be power cycled. Some sites never freeze, other do so
annoyingly often.
I am using a watchdog program that uses the TX watchdog, and although the
watchdog program seems to work, it does not prevent these lockups that require
power cycling. When I say the watchdog program works, if I kill -STOP it, the
TS7250 reboots within about 5 seconds.
I suspect mains spikes are the cause, but I would welcome thoughts and
suggestions.
When a system locks up it does not respond to ping or telnet or ssh or ftp.
