Using com3 header, I can get ttts4 to RECEIVE data only, it will NOT transmit,
ttts5 does nothing.
I've verified all my wiring, from end to end, so it's not a cabling issue.
ttts4:
2 ----- 2
3 ----- 3
5 ----- 5
ttts5:
7 ------- 7
8 ------- 8
5 ------- 5
(I've also tried reversing 2/3 and 7/8, to no avail.)
using minicom, I've tried multiple baud rates.
I've also tried setting the com rate via setserial
again, no effect.
I've also tried simply to echo 'hello' >> /dev/ttts4, with no effect.
ttyS0 works fine on the COM1 header, but I need to leave it open.
Same effect booting from SD or from flash.
Thanks
Eric
