I've looked at this but I have yet to see some sort of real-world stats on 
durability.  I figured that people here are actually putting the systems into 
practical use and my be willing to share their experiences.

I understand that if the system loses power during a write, bad things can 
happen but what in Linux itself is writing to the file system e.g. virtual 
memory swaps or stuff like that.
