Hi
I have read all threads (at the one I found) on TS-GSM1 on this mailing list, and I have not seen a single post about someone saying he succeeded in making this GSM/GPRS MODEM working.  Should I worry ?

I'm able to communicate with TS-GSM1 with minicom on ttyS0.
I have a SIM card with access to data on wireless
I'm able to make the MODEM connect to the wireless GSM network with the help of AT commands with minicom.
GSM signal provider (Rogers) confirmed that MODEM received an IP address, but cannot help me with Linux setup.

Now I want to make this MODEM visible as an ETH port.  I have a new PPP options file, but I don't know what file to modify to tell kernel to load this new PPP options file.  Any idea ?

Thanks.

Pierre

Hi groups,
I have a simple linux question.
I succeeded to connect the GPRS MODEM to network with the help of minicom and AT commands.
What do I do to get PPPD running ?
GPRS Modem is on ttyS0 serial port.

Thanks,

Pierre
