If it is just the 1.5 gig of cross compiling toos etc you want to back up back up only that partition and ignore rest. My suggestion would be to download ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-sbc/ts-7350-linux/binaries/ts-images/512mbsd-aug252008.dd.bz2 DD this onto the card. Then you can resize the last parition to the size of the card. I done this successfully anyways, but I'm no expert.
