According to the TS-7390 schematic (I have a TS-7390 here that I'm
starting to play with), the COM1 connector has almost all the RS-232
control lines. It has DTR, RTS, CTS, and DCD but does not have DSR or
RI. The COM2 connector only supports RXD and TXD on pins 2 & 3 and if
you have the RS-485 drivers installed, supports two RS-485 ports on
pins 1 & 6 and also on pins 4 & 9.
Running dmesg shows that there are serial ports at ttyAM0, ttyAM1, and
ttyAM2. According to linuxrc-fastboot, ttyAM0 is the console port
when you use the TS-9445 and I'm assuming that ttyAM1 is the RS-232 on
the COM1 connector and ttyAM2 is the RS-232 on the COM2 connector.
The output from dmesg also shows serial ports at ttts0-ttts4 as well
as tt8s0-tt8s4. But I looking in /dev, I would guess that ttyS0 &
ttyS1 go to the two RS-485 ports on COM2 and ttyS2 and ttyS3 go to the
two TTL-level RS-232 ports on the expansion connector (which of course
need RS-232 driver chips).
