I'm running into trouble with my TS-7620 and TS-GSM1. Everything is
working smoothly to the point where the modem needs to interact with
the network. I can issue passive AT commands such as checking network
signal strength etc. but as soon as I try to send/receive SMS message,
mess with call forwardings or try ATDT, my TS-7620 reboots. My guess
is that the GSM modem tries to draw more power than my power supply is
able to provide. I'm running ethernet, USB and TS-GSM1 with the
international regulated 18VDC wall mounted power supply
(PS-18VDC-REG). I don't have access to a voltmeter right now. I'm also
unsure about the specifications of the power supply. Could someone
comfirm my hypothesis?
