Subject: | [ts-7000] Recommended ARM Architecture Book for the Marvell Chip? |

Hello, I am new to this group and have a new TS-7800 on the way. I am very familiar with Linux from a user prospective, the MIPS chip, and, of course the x86. I am new to ARM. Although I realize programming at the assembly level at the get-go is not the first step, I would like to learn more about ARM as I dig into the TS-7800. I've searched the message archives for this group and see recommendations on Linux and/or Embedded programming books yet none on the ARM architecture. That said, one of the highest rated books on Amazon is "ARM System-on-Chip Architecture, 2nd Ed, by Steve Furber". The table of contents makes no mention of Marvell, or the 88F5182. I wonder if anyone can help me select a good book on the ARM to start with. I am aware of the ARM Architecture Reference Guide, but figured this would be a bit too much for the beginner. Thanks in advance, and I hope to contribute to this group before too long. Dave Comer __._,_.___
