Subject: | bug in ts-7800 usb driver? |

We've now encountered 2 USB devices which work with 2.6.21-ts on a ts7260 but fail on a ts7800. Its the same NFS root so its not likely to be a problem with user code. The first devices is a Griffin iMic using snd-usb-audio & Alsa. On the ts7800 only small fragments of sound (< 10% of incoming sound) are recorded. The 2nd device is a 3G modem which uses the kernel airprime module. On the ts7800 ppp issues AT command successfully but then doesn't get any repsonse to LCP packets. As both are USB, I'm worried there is a kernel USB bug, but googling doesn't turn up anything about the USB driver (ehci-5182.c). Suggestions welcome. Andrew |
