Ok, Kind of back up now. I can open ttyS3 ok now, but S4 etc was still failing. I copied up the latest tsuart1 and tsuart7800 modules and now each of uarts loads and sets/get tcattr without errors. The (maybe) last question then is how does ttyS2 get activated? Using the same code as previous, ttyS2 opens ok with 'open' but returns -1 for get/setattr. Yahoo!
