maybe I missed it, but I didn't find a downloadable compiled kernel
that had the memory map patch built in.  and of the kernels people
offered, it wasn't always clear which ts-72xx models they would work
with -
I gather that not all of them have the weird memory map?

and anyway, the mem= hack was able to map in enough memory (32MB) so that 
I could get a kernel compiled natively from source, and of course I
did apply 
all of the recommended patches to that kernel.  I just wanted a
pre-compiled
kernel and root file system so I could avoid having to set up a cross
toolchain 
and try to get all of those details right.  (e.g. EABI seemed like the
way to
go, but crosstool doesn't seem to support EABI yet)
