Bibhu,

With regard to the 800x600, on the latest version of the SD card 
(available on the TS ftp site) there are two FPGA files, the startup 
is configured by default to load the 640x480 version, but by 
modifying the startup script to load the other you can change the 
resolution. If you want I'll look at writing a step-by-step guide 
(again in my extremely limited free time!).

As regards using the screen, I plugged a USB keyboard (I chose a MAC 
keyboard for aesthetics) into the 7300 and can use it like an old DOS 
PC. I've not played around with any of the X-window or other such 
systems as for my application I wrote everything that I needed from 
scratch!
