Hey All,
I just hit this same problem - I recompiled BusyBox and everything
seems to work except 'reboot'.
Well, actually, 'shutdown -h now' seems a little weird, too. The
'reboot' command has no effect at all, and the shutdown/halt goes to
runlevel 0, but doesn't seem to complete - there's no final 'System
halted' message.
Did anyone find the resolution?
I tried it with gcc-3.3.6-glibc-2.3.2 cross-compiler (my own
Crosstools build) and BusyBox v1.00-rc2 (from the TS ftp site).
Did the older compiler (3.3.2) work better? Or the newer BusyBox
(v1.00-rc3)?
Or was it something else?
Thanks,
Frank
