Hi Vincent,
How and how much did you overclock your ARM? I'm currently working on a TS-7400 and its 200Mhz could not be enough for my needs...

Just yesterday I realized one option could be to overclock the board (I remember years ago I could overclock my Intel based PDA about 2x), and I wonder if this is possible with the Cirrus silicon...

Pros: how much could up overclock your board?
Cons: do you have stability problems? Does everything work as expected?

Thanks a lot
Andrea

Hello all,

First, thank you for your input.

Second, it seems we had problems because we were overclocking the ARM
and because we had a problem in our sleep routine (the ARM was always
active). After downclocking and debugging the sleep routine, the
temperature inside the enclosure never goes over 45-50¤C and the ARM
never fails.

It would be interesting to evaluate the temperature when the ARM is
always on. We'll try it out in the coming weeks.

We will look into shading the ARM enclosure with a aluminum panel in
the final installation.

Thank you all again,

Vincent
