I accidentally sent my original post the gentoo-embedded list before
sending it to the ts7000 list (I think I was on autopilot when I typed
in the 'TO' field), and I surprisingly got a few responses from them too.
Apparrently users are free to set up their own overlays as well, and
write wiki-based documentation hosted by Gentoo. Sweet :)
