Ah this information says a lot. I've not seem this message and it
looks like you've fixed the problem (iptables).

It would have been nice to have seen information like this to start
with (this wasn't from you as far as I can tell). The only thing I
saw was the same question about telnet blocking which was answered
"no" many times.
