SPIFLASHBOOT is the bootrom on the TS-9441. Redboot is not used on
TS-7400, TS-7300, or TS-9441. I believe you have the initial ramdisk and
TS-Linux confused. For clarification TS-Linux is the default filesystem
shipped on the onboard flash. I'd recommend refering to the TS-7400
manual, the Getting Started section explains how to boot to TS-Linux,
Debian, and the initial ramdisk.

It sounds like you have the boot jumper on the TS-9441, as a result you
are modifying the linuxrc script on the TS-9441. When you type save you
are saving the initial ramdisk to the TS-7400. You'll want to remove the
boot jumper from the TS-9441.
