Hi John,
You might want to look at ecos. It already runs on the TS-72xx in the
guise of RedBoot; you might be able to just substitute your own
package for the RedBoot package and keep the rest of ecos (the HAL,
drivers, etc.) as it is.
I'm really no ecos / RedBoot expert, but I have hacked around with it
successfully for my own project. It's like swimming in Lake Huron -
the initial plunge is quite a shock, but once you become numb, it
isn't too bad.
