Hello All,
I shouldn't use my real name for this post - I am truly going to get
flamed. I have done a few 72xx Embedded Linux demo projects for
customers. I like the boards so much, that I would like to use the 72xx
for a demo project for a customer. This time however, power consumption
and processor speed are what I need to utilize in the board - otherwise
I would just grab my trusty TS-2x00 x386 board and use DOS, round robin
with interrupts architecture.

With embedded linux running, i just don't have enough horsepower left
to do the real processing. Even after disabling practically every
daemon. I am not in the mood to move up to a DSP/FPGA solution, when I
believe the 72xx board has enough raw horspower to do the task.

So, (my fear of getting flamed question), has anyone used the 72xx with
a round robin with interrupt style "single threaded OS"
implementation ? Does a BSP for these boards exist to support this
style of OS (or lackof OS) ? I have Googled some - but my kung fu
Google skills aren't so strong ....

Regards,
John
