I see. The big attraction of the 7300 for us is the SD bootup... We
figure it's cheaper to ship our customers a new SD card with a new
system on it than to do what you're trying to do. And a lot less
chance for a hosed system.
Then again, our produts are semi-custom; each one is a bit different
and we only sell a few hundred a year, so we're not talking about a
huge undertaking - and the cost of failure can be high.
Thus our update policy is, "ship a new EEPROM (current) or new SD card
(future)." :-)
