latest info: The hang happens in the usb_submit_urb call in
zd1211_tx_submit_urb. The process is when data is being send TO the
usb device (zd1211). The call returns 0 (success) but never (ever)
calls the complete callback, which jams the driver. Not sure why the
call never returns, but I imagine the usb bus is getting messed up,
and it might be platform specific, since I am pretty sure this worked
on a plain ts7200

This doesn't sound like it is specific to ad-hoc mode, or is it?

I'm doing fine with the r83 version, in managed mode.

That's on a ts-7400 though.

Just yell if you want to try it my ts11 kernel config, to see if the difference is in the kernel/usb modules or what have you.
