Ok, I'll take a swing at it since nobody else has. It has been years since I used rpcgen, however, I as I remember, the rpcgen generates C code, so you just generate the code for both client and server, then cross-compile the part that will live on the Arm. Not need to compile and run the generator on the Arm itself.
Let me know how that works out. I might also consider using rpc for some things, but you have to assume a secured network. On 1/22/07, fr000nc <
