Hi there
I didn't quite understand if you just wanted a new kernel or wanted to
run the whole distro so i will try to answer as much as i can on both
questions.
I am assuming that you are up and running and have managed to configure
the network to communicate with the TS7260.
There are several ways of loading different kernels than the standard
kernel. You have the option of getting via HTTP or TFTP. (I assume that
you have access to
http://www.embeddedarm.com/Manuals/ts-7260-manual-rev1.2.pdf and
http://www.embeddedarm.com/Manuals/gs_arm_tslinux.pdf)
I know that you wanted to know about NFS and debian but i don't know
exactly so i will not attempt at describing the debian way. You might
look for a general NFS guide though. This will solve your problems if
you don't care about interfering with the debian config system:
http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/ar01s03.html.
What many distros do is that they have a gui config that writes the
necessary files for you but you can always override that as long as you
know that your graphical config system might be a litte sour and might
overwrite you changes when you and if you start it.
A great way of finding Linux documentation is adding the keyword HOWTO
in your google.
