I think this might help you: http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/
I would first try to create a correct nfs-tree and try to get it
mounted. Second you can play with tftp and friends to get your kernel
loaded from the network.
I'm currently trying to get the same situation up and running, I'll
try to post my experiences on the internet. I'll let you know where
you can find them.
